Unite Contracting is seeking verifiable experienced Concrete Finishers with a current Twic Card must have verifiable concrete finishing or Form Carpenter experience. As a Concrete Finisher you will be responsible for applying finishes to freshly poured concrete surfaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the use of power tools. If you have experience in hardscape, masonry, or tile laying, and enjoy working with concrete, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Must have current Twic Card for these jobs
- Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
- Use power tools such as concrete mixers, trowels, and edgers to apply finishes
- Apply various techniques to achieve desired textures and patterns on concrete surfaces
- Repair damaged concrete surfaces by patching or resurfacing
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects within specified timelines
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or Form Carpenter in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for accurate placement of concrete
- Proficient in using power tools such as concrete mixers, trowels, and edgers
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ 24.00 to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
