Unite Contracting is hiring dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a current Twic Card. Working Monday to Thursday 10 hour days. The candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
Operate essential construction equipment under supervision.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with essential construction tools and equipment is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction work.
