Unite Contracting is accepting applications for a Rubber Titre Backhoe Operator digging next to underground utilities in the New Orleans metropolitan area. No Per Diem Money on this job. Digging up city streets, old pipes, and laying new water lines, sewage lines, and drainage lines. MUST HAVE VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE and pass a hands on Rubber tire Backhoe operating test.
Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience as a Backhoe - Rubber Tire Operator. Working on a construction site as a heavy equipment operator Backhoe Rubber Tire laying underground piping you will be required to service the construction equipment daily maintenance. Excavator / Backhoe heavy equipment operator is required to operate a Excavator / Rubber Tire Backhoe, front end loader and skid steer. Equipment operator will be working Monday to Friday off on weekends. Heavy equipment operator will be working 8 to 10 hours per day with overtime.

Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes on construction sites to perform various tasks.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of loaders, dump trucks, and graders as needed.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate site activities and adhere to project timelines.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment while executing construction tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, Paid weekly.
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
