Accepting applications for experience Structural Fitters or Ship Fitter for a job  working 9 to 10 hours per day Monday to Friday.  This is a temp to permanent full time job $25 to $27 depending on experience.  The ideal candidate must pass a hands on BluePrint Reading test first and then a structural fitting test at construction site. Structural Fitter / Ship Fitter should have experience in fitting using various metals and materials, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols. Candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, interpreting sketches, and using specialized tools to complete projects in a timely manner at the construction site working with a welder. We are looking for an fitter construction individual who is able to work independently and is highly motivated to produce quality work as a structural fitter. 

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using fitting techniques.
  • Operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform quality control checks on welds.
  • Maintain any fitting equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment with the welder.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
